Boys Winter Season
This winter, Edina Lacrosse Association is excited to offer three incredible options for boys in grades 1–8 to keep their skills sharp and prepare for the upcoming season.
Option 1: Fall Saturday Play Day Continuation (8U/10U/12U/14U)
- Dates and Times: November 1 (9:00-10:30am) & November 22 (4:30-6:00pm)
- Where: Braemar Dome
- Fee: FREE!
- Open to all Boys ELA members in grades 1–8 with an active USA Lacrosse membership.
- Keep the fun rolling from fall with two bonus Saturday play days at no cost!
- Note: If you register for option 2 or 3, you are automatically enrolled in the Fall Saturday Play Days!
Option 2: Sunday Winter Clinics (8U/10U/12U/14U)
- Dates: 5 Sunday sessions in November & December (11/2,11/9,11/16,11/23,12/7)
- Times: 8U 6:30-7:30, 10U/12U/14U 6:30-8:30
- Where: Braemar Dome
- Fee: 8U $90, 10U/12U/14U $120
- Focus: 8U stick skills, and small-sided games
- Focus: 10U/12U/14U stick skills, and small-sided games (first hour), High quality/intensity drills with HS coaches (second hour)
Option 3: Sunday Winer Clinics + Fortis Training (10U/12U/14U)
- Includes the above option 2 Sunday Clinic sessions PLUS 7 additional training sessions at Fortis at Champions Hall in Eden Prairie in December and January. This is a mini-version of the Edina High School Boys Lacrosse off-season program—an amazing opportunity for players to prepare like the Hornets do!
- Fee: $190 (breaks down to $10 per Fortis session!)
- Fortis December Gym Training:
- When: Saturdays, December 6,13, and 20
- Times: 10U 8-9am, 12U 9-10am,14U 10-11am
- Where: Champions Hall in Eden Prairie
- Focus: The Fortis gym training will incorporate a mixture of sprint and agility training, plyometrics, and bodyweight strength training. In our sprint and agility training, we will focus on building quickness and improving change of direction through a number of different footwork drills using agility ladders, parachutes, timers, and a variety of cone drills. Our plyometric training is built to improve explosiveness through a number of different jumps that will translate directly to on field play. The bodyweight strength training will help improve body control and begin to understand the movements to build strength!
- Gear: None! Just athletic shoes.
- Fortis January Lacrosse Specific Field Training:
- When: Sundays January 4, 11, 18, and 25
- Times: 10U 12-1pm, 12U 1-2pm, 14U 2-3pm
- Where: Champtions Hall in Eden Prairie
- Focus: This will be a skill focused session. Each session will start off with a focus on stick skills, followed by offensive and defensive footwork, then finishing up with shooting and dodging from all around the field. This will be a great way for your athlete to get high quality reps and keep their stick in their hand through the off season!
- Gear: Since this is non-contact, only helmet, gloves, stick, and athletic shoes required.
Age group is determined by date of birth
Age Levels change each year as of September 1.
Your player may have aged up to the next age group since their last season. To choose the program age group your player is eligible to participate in, find their birth date in the date ranges below.
Boys K (09/01/2019 to 08/31/2021) any current Kindergartner or a PreK who will be in kindergarten next year
Boys 8U (09/01/2017 to 08/31/2019) typically 1st and 2nd grade
Boys 10U (09/01/2015 to 08/31/2017) typically 3rd and 4th grade
Boys 12U (09/01/2013 to 08/31/2015) typically 5th and 6th grade
Boys 14U (06/01/2011 to 08/31/2013) typically 7th and 8th grade

Payment Options - presented in shopping cart:
PAY ONLINE IN FULL: Submit total fees online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account.
Transaction and Processing Fees:
- If paying by electronic check, an additional 1.99% of program cost plus $0.99 will be added at checkout.
- If paying by credit card, an additional 3.99% of program cost plus $0.99 will be added at checkout.

USA Lacrosse Membership Required - not included in registration fee
Like most local youth lacrosse associations, ELA's insurance is provided by USA Lacrosse. Therefore, in addition to the Edina Lacrosse Association registration fee, a $30 USA Lacrosse Membership is required and must be valid through November 1, 2025. When you register, your player's name, address and birth date must match your USA Lacrosse Membership; if not, you'll receive an error message. USA Lacrosse Memberships are per player and renewed annually.
