Age group is determined by date of birth

Age Levels change each year as of September 1.

Your player may have aged up to the next age group since their last season. To choose the program age group your player is eligible to participate in, find their birth date in the date ranges below.

Boys K (09/01/2020 to 08/31/2022) any current Kindergartner or a PreK who will be in kindergarten next year

Boys 8U  (09/01/2018 to 08/31/2020) typically 1st and 2nd grade

Boys 10U (09/01/2016 to 08/31/2018) typically 3rd and 4th grade

Boys 12U (09/01/2014 to 08/31/2016) typically 5th and 6th grade

Boys 14U (06/01/2012 to 08/31/2014) typically 7th and 8th grade

Please review our Play up/play down policy if you need to submit a request for your player to play in an age level other than one their birthdate falls in.

Registration for this program will remain open until the first practice.

This will be a fun weekly program, focused on fun activities around basic lacrosse skills. Every player will get a small lacrosse stick (often called a fiddle stick) and an ELA t-shirt. Soft lacrosse balls will be used, so no extra lacrosse gear is needed. Super easy and fun!

Who can Register? Any current kindergartners for the 26-27 school year or Preschoolers who will be in Kindergarten next fall

Every Monday, September 7 - October 12 from 5:30 - 6:30pm

GEAR: No gear required! Registration covers the cost of a beginner lacrosse stick, which will be given out on the first day of practice.

UNIFORM: No uniform required! Registration covers the cost of a t-shirt, which will be given out on the first day of practice.

We do anticipate teams will fill, especially for 8U and 10U, so register early! Registration closes on 8/15/2026.

12U: Wednesdays (8/26 to 10/7) 6:00-7:30pm at Braemar

14U: Wednesdays (8/26 to 10/7) 6:00-7:30pm at Braemar

Game Information (Games managed by GNLL- Great Northern Lacrosse League*)

• 8U: Select doubleheader jamboree days will be offered. Times and locations TBD
• 10U, 12U, 14U: Each team plays seven games over a 5-week season: Sunday, September 6 - October 4, 2026. Games run between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. Times and locations TBD

*We will do our best effort to load games into Crossbar as they become available. However, the most up-to-date game schedule for the GNLL Youth Boys Fall League is available in the Tourney Machine app.

End of Season Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament (costumes highly encouraged!):

8U/10U: October 9-11, 2026, at Shakopee High School and West Middle School. 4-game guarantee

12U/14U: If we have enough interest to field a team, we will send out a separate registration and payment link for the Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament October 9-11.

Our intent is to field at least one team at each age level, with priority given to early registrants. We will evaluate additional teams upon demand. In the event that numbers do not support an additional team, players outside the first roster will be offered the opportunity to serve as a practice player at a reduced rate or receive a full refund.

PAY ONLINE IN FULL: Submit total fees online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account.

Transaction and Processing Fees:

1. If paying by electronic check, an additional 1.99% of program cost plus $0.99 will be added at checkout.
2. If paying by credit card, an additional 3.99% of program cost plus $0.99 will be added at checkout.

Amex is NOT an accepted form of payment even though it is listed as one. Crossbar is working with their payment provider to have it removed from the list.

In addition to the Edina Lacrosse Association registration fee, a $30 USA Lacrosse Membership is required and must be valid through November 1, 2026. When you register, your player's name, address and birth date must match your USA Lacrosse Membership; if not, you'll receive an error message. USA Lacrosse Memberships are per player and renewed annually.
